took us more than 10 shots I think for us to get a good one, I think we failed. haha!

Sept 23, 2012 - Mom's b-day. I asked Jhel to join us for lunch but she had other plans.  Oh well, I just bought her a Gong Cha Milk Chocolate, my favorite! Not sure if liked it though. Wrong spelling is wrong ne JHEL?

Med. Tech. Tandem

HMUA: Kiko Bucu Garcia

Jhel and I had been talking since 2010. This would be my 1st time to shoot a fellow Laboratory Scientist (pinasosyal na tawag sa Medical Technologist). I enjoyed every bit of our conversation. From antibodies, to blood cells, to bacteria, to her thesis and to our teachers. Yes it was a blast! I missed talking about Medical Technology as a whole since I'm actually practicing only 1% of it right now.

I showed her my old microscope

she wanted warm tones

I do love her dimples!
Jhel said pray first before eating,   but when I'm with her shoot first before eating the food.

Ate was kind enough to tag along

Ken San Luis

Yes I need to work on my studio lighting skills. This shoot was another chance for me to get better. I was invited by Sir Sonny to join him on this shoot. This shoot was also our last shoot with our good friend Putit. My right eye got irritated before the shoot and it turned very red, I thought I could not take good shots because of this so I had to do something. This is where being a Medical Technologist kicked in, I bought a pack of ice and put it on my eye. Whew! It worked!

Thank you Sir Sonny for the Yellow Cab pizza. Busog ako!

This was the first time I worked with Ms. Ken, yes she was beautiful! She was the tallest model I worked with. I even said to her "Ang tangkad mo Ken! Di ka kasya sa frame.hehe!" Later that night I found out that she is more comfortable shooting outdoors, we share the same feeling. Our next shoot would be outdoors. Watch out for it!

test shots - I think she looks a bit like Kim Chiu

Yes We Are Cool!

Here's something that I'm busy with right now.  Another first one for me, I hope it will come out good when I finish it. I'm still thinking of a photo for the center spread.

Vanessa Jay

We shot indoors, yes indoors! Indoors I admit is one of my weaknesses. Regine could attest to that. I'm more comfortable shooting oudoors.

The challenge for me, Putit and Julius was to shoot and post photos without editing them. some photos in this album are edited, they need a little cleaning. Here's a teaser of our work.

Yes it was a rainy day, the original plan was to shoot in Poracay. But we ended up shooting indoors because of bad weather. This was also a long awaited shoot for me and Van, I think it was three or four months ago when we talk about a shoot. Van and I were both excited for this shoot that almost got cancelled due to heavy rains. Pano na my little Sis? should I talk to ate?

The three of us (putit, julius and I) all joined up and shared ideas on this shoot, being helped by Khel and Char. Yes it was exhausting! But we had great photos!

Slowly the three of us are developing our own styles in photography (I think). I do love to include shadows, walls ang reflections on my photos. This shoot was no different, Had photos with walls and shadows. Loving the hard light.

This was one of the few times that I shot in RAW. Yes this shoot was special. Shooting better than my usual.
a test shot - photo for our MUA: Dan Jose

I'm trying to create a new style. This was one of my attempts

now this is something new. my first time to try this. I kinda like it! my best of the shoot would be uploaded in a month. Some would be kept for future exhibits (if i ever have another exhibit).

Oliver Meets Fashion yet again!

Farm Feme Fatale - A Lenti Camera Club fun shoot

There were supposed to be six models from Manila but due to the heavy rain down south only four made it. This was a Lenti fun shoot at Tarlac. The last time we had a fashion shoot with the group was about 2 yrs ago, I think. I was just new in photography back then. But this time I was armed with the knowledge given to me by my Lenti family. Sorry we had to leave.

Kuya Julius and I shared the panget lizards, this time no 580 ex ll fell down. Putit now had his own PW, yeah baby!Shooting ambient in broad daylight is a bit hard. Lenti is a family, so we all took turns on the Pocket Wizards. I think most of them will buy their own soon! Lalo na si Kuya Win who is always with us each time Julius, Putit and I have a shoot.

Thank you to all the models and MUA's, thank you direct Edward Vicente for coming, thank you to the ownwer of the farm. Thank you Kuya Julius and Kuya Auvi for the ride.

And I can't fail to mention that WE ALL HAD FUN EVEN BEFORE THE SHOOT! We all laughed,, laughed,,, and laughed!

Metamorphosis Modeling Workshops merges with the Ace Photographer Elle Sison and Lenti Camera Club in a nature shoot " Farm Femme Fatales". Special thanks to the fabulous make-up artist Peach Roderno and hair stylist Giovani Abogado:-) " - Edward Vicente
